Chris Raschka
Chris Raschka is an American author and illustrator born on March 6, 1959, in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who has created over fifty children's books. He is a two-time Caldecott Medal winner, receiving the award in 2006 for illustrating Norton Juster's The Hello, Goodbye Window and in 2012 for A Ball for Daisy. Known for his minimalist style and incorporation of music and jazz themes into his work, Raschka initially studied biology in college before pursuing a career in illustration and children's literature.
