Cheryl Strayed
Cheryl Strayed (née Nyland) is an American writer and podcast host best known for her #1 New York Times bestselling memoir Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail (2012), which was adapted into an Oscar-nominated film starring Reese Witherspoon.[1][2] She is also the author of the novel Torch (2006), the advice collection Tiny Beautiful Things (2012), and Brave Enough (2015), with her books selling millions of copies worldwide and translated into dozens of languages.[1][2] Strayed has co-hosted popular podcasts like Dear Sugars and lives in Portland, Oregon.[2][4]
