Chela Sandoval

Chela Sandoval is an associate professor of Chicana Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a noted theorist of postcolonial and third world feminism. Her influential 1991 essay 'U.S. Third World Feminism' and her 2000 book 'Methodology of the Oppressed' have established her as a leading voice in decolonial feminism and intellectual activism for women of color.
