Charlotte Yonge

Charlotte Mary Yonge (1823–1901) was an English novelist associated with the Oxford Movement and known for writing fiction, children's books, and religious works. Her best-known novel, *The Heir of Redclyffe* (1853), helped establish her as a major Victorian writer, and she wrote more than 100 works over her career.
