Charlotte Vale Allen
Charlotte Vale-Allen (1941–2023) was a Canadian writer of contemporary fiction, best known for her many bestselling novels and her memoir Daddy's Girl, which described sexual abuse in her childhood. Born in Toronto, she lived in England and later moved to the United States, where she began her writing career after marrying Walter Bateman Allen Jr.
