Charles Stephens
Charles Asbury Stephens (1844–1931), known as C. A. Stephens, was an American writer and physician best known for his long association with The Youth's Companion, for which he wrote thousands of short stories and hundreds of serialized novels. Born in Norway, Maine, he later earned a medical degree and often incorporated scientific and technical detail into his fiction.
