Charles Riborg Mann

Charles Riborg Mann (1869-1942) was an American physicist, engineer, and educator known for his influential work in engineering education, including the 1918 'A Study of Engineering Education.' He earned degrees from Columbia University and a Ph.D. from the University of Berlin, served as a civilian adviser in the U.S. War Department during World War I, chaired its civilian advisory board from 1919-1925, and directed the American Council on Education from 1922 to 1934.[1][2][5]
