Charles Preston

Charles Preston was a journalist and writer born in 1911 who grew up in Anderson, Indiana. He was radicalized by the Great Depression, joined the Communist Party with his wife Lucy in New York City, and later worked for the Indianapolis Recorder, where his experiences shaped his writing.
