Charles MacKay

Charles Mackay was a Scottish poet, journalist, and songwriter, best known for his 1841 work 'Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds', which examines mass hysteria and financial bubbles. He also wrote popular songs such as 'There's a Good Time Coming, Boys' and served as a correspondent for The Times.
