Charles L. Blockson
Charles L. Blockson was a renowned historian, scholar, and curator who dedicated his life to documenting and preserving African American history. He amassed one of the world's largest private collections of African American artifacts, comprising over one million items, and served as curator emeritus of the Charles L. Blockson Afro-American Collection at Temple University. He was also a co-founder of the African American Museum in Philadelphia and authored numerous books on Black history and genealogy.
