Charles Herbert Kitson

Charles Herbert Kitson (1874-1944) was an English organist, teacher, and music educator renowned for his books on harmony and counterpoint. Educated at Ripon School and Selwyn College, Cambridge, where he was an organ scholar, he co-edited the 1919 Irish Church Hymnal and composed church music, organ works, and hymns. He spent his career in music education and performance, dying in Kensington, London.
