Charles George
Charles G. D. Roberts (1860–1943) was a Canadian poet and prose writer, widely regarded as one of the first Canadian authors to achieve international recognition. He is especially known for poetry and fiction, including animal stories that helped establish a distinct Canadian literary tradition.
