Charles Emerson
Charles Emmerson is a British-Australian historian, writer, and senior research fellow at Chatham House, born in Melbourne, Australia in 1976 and raised in London. He studied modern history at Oxford University, graduating top of his class, and pursued postgraduate studies in international relations and public law in Paris. Emmerson is the author of acclaimed books including The Future History of the Arctic (2010), 1913: The World Before the Great War (2013), and Crucible: The Long End of the Great War and the Birth of a New World, 1917-1924 (2019), and he has worked for organizations like the International Crisis Group, World Economic Forum, and Financial Times.[1][2][3]
