Charles 1792-1868 Cist

Charles Cist (1792-1868) was an American editor and author known for his works on the history and statistics of Cincinnati, Ohio, including 'Cincinnati in 1841,' 'Sketches and Statistics of Cincinnati in 1851,' and 'Sketches and Statistics of Cincinnati in 1859.' Son of printer Charles Cist and husband of Jane White, he established The Western Weekly Advertiser in 1843, a family journal focused on the early history of First Nations in the west and Ohio statistics.[2][1][3]
