Charity Norman

Charity Norman is a New Zealand-based author of crime and psychological drama novels, born in Kampala, Uganda to missionary parents and raised in Yorkshire and Birmingham, UK. Before becoming a novelist, she worked as a barrister specializing in crime and family law in England, and moved to New Zealand in 2002 with her family. Her debut novel Freeing Grace was published in 2011, and she won the 2023 Ngaio Marsh Award for Best Novel with Remember Me.
