Chalise Tiffany
Charles Lewis Tiffany was an American jeweler and businessman born in Killingly, Connecticut, who co-founded Tiffany & Co. in 1837 as a stationery and fancy-goods store in New York City, which evolved into a renowned luxury jewelry brand.[1][2] He pioneered innovations such as the first U.S. retail catalog, introduced the English sterling silver standard in 1851, and specialized in importing rare gems and artwork.[2][7] Tiffany led the company to international acclaim, earning awards like one at the 1867 Paris World’s Fair, before his death in 1902.[5]
