The Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency (CCTA) was a UK government agency established in 1957 to provide information technology and telecommunications support to government departments and public sector organizations. It later became known for helping shape UK government IT practice and is widely associated with the early development of ITIL.[1][4][9]
