Celia Barker Lottridge

Celia Barker Lottridge is a Canadian children's writer and storyteller born in 1936 in Iowa City, Iowa, who moved to Toronto in 1975 and has authored over twenty acclaimed books, including retellings of folktales and novels based on family stories. She graduated from Stanford University and Columbia University, worked as a children's librarian and book buyer, and has received numerous awards for her contributions to children's literature.
