Cathryn Sill
Cathryn Sill, born February 8, 1953, in Asheville, North Carolina, is a children's author specializing in nature and science books, often collaborating with her husband, illustrator John Sill.[1][2] A graduate of Western Carolina University with a B.S.Ed., she taught elementary school for thirty years before becoming a full-time writer in 1988, creating acclaimed series like 'About...' and 'About Habitats' that introduce young readers to birds, mammals, amphibians, habitats, and more.[1][2][3]
