Cathi Hanauer
Cathi Hanauer is a New York Times bestselling author of three novels—Gone (2012), Sweet Ruin (2006), and My Sister’s Bones (1996)—and editor of the essay anthologies The Bitch in the House (2002), a #10 NYT bestseller, and The Bitch is Back (2016), an NPR Best Book. She co-founded the New York Times 'Modern Love' column with her husband Daniel Jones, and has written for publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Elle, and O. She holds a B.A. magna cum laude from Syracuse University and an M.F.A. from the University of Arizona, and lives in Northampton, Massachusetts, and New York City.
