Catherine Raven

Catherine Raven is a naturalist, writer, and professor who earned a PhD in biology from Montana State University and holds degrees in zoology and botany from the University of Montana. She is a former national park ranger at Glacier, Mount Rainier, North Cascades, Voyageurs, and Yellowstone national parks and currently serves as a professor at South University in Savannah, Georgia. Her debut nature memoir, Fox and I: An Uncommon Friendship, was published in 2021 by Spiegel & Grau.
