Catherine Pierce

Catherine Pierce is an American poet and memoirist from Delaware who has published multiple poetry collections, including *Danger Days* and *The Tornado Is the World*. She served as Mississippi’s Poet Laureate from 2021 to 2025 and is associated with Mississippi State University, where she co-directs the creative writing program.[1][2][4]
