Catherine Lacey

Catherine Lacey is an American author born in Tupelo, Mississippi, known for her novels Biography of X, Pew, Nobody Is Ever Missing, and The Answers, as well as the story collection Certain American States.[1][2][4][6] She has received prestigious honors including a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Whiting Award, the NYPL Young Lions Fiction Award, and was named one of Granta's Best Young American Novelists in 2017.[1][2][3] Her works blend fiction and nonfiction, have been translated into numerous languages, and feature in publications like The New Yorker and Harper's.[1][2]
