Catherine Ashton
Catherine Ashton, Baroness Ashton of Upholland, is a British Labour politician born on March 20, 1956, in Upholland, Lancashire, England[1][3]. She served as the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and First Vice-President of the European Commission from 2009 to 2014[1][4]. In addition to her diplomatic roles, she is the author of the 2023 book 'And Then What?: Despatches From the Heart of 21st-Century Diplomacy, From Kosovo to Kiev'[4].
