Carter Brown

Carter Brown was the literary pseudonym of Alan Geoffrey Yates (1923–1985), an English-born Australian writer of detective fiction. He was one of the most prolific popular fiction authors of the 20th century, publishing hundreds of crime and mystery stories and achieving huge international sales. His work was especially known for fast-paced, entertaining pulp-style thrillers.
