Carrie Jones is a New York Times bestselling author of young adult novels, including the critically acclaimed *Tips on Having a Gay (ex) Boyfriend*, its sequel *Love (and Other Uses for Duct Tape)*, and the *Need* series, as well as works in paranormal romance, science fiction, and the *Time Stoppers* series. A former editor and journalist living in Maine, she has produced an eclectic mix of fiction and non-fiction, and also serves as an editor in Bar Harbor. She grew up in Bedford, New Hampshire, near Manchester.
