Carolyn Keene
Carolyn Keene is a pseudonym used by multiple ghostwriters for the Nancy Drew mystery series produced by the Stratemeyer Syndicate. Mildred Wirt Benson was the first and primary author to use this pen name, writing 23 of the original 30 Nancy Drew books starting in 1930. After Benson, other writers including Harriet Stratemeyer Adams continued the series under the same pseudonym.
