Caroline Kaufman

Caroline Kaufman, known as @poeticpoison on Instagram, is an American poet who began sharing her work online as a high school freshman and gained widespread recognition with her debut collection Light Filters In in 2018, followed by When The World Didn't End. Her poetry explores themes of mental illness, recovery, love, and self-discovery, amassing hundreds of thousands of followers. Born and raised in Westchester, New York, she studied English at Harvard University and aspires to attend medical school.
