Caroline Elkington

Caroline Elkington, born in Somerset in 1955 to a family of artists and writers, is a self-taught painter tutored by Roy Nebbs and trained at West Dean College.[1] She began her professional career in 1975, working in graphic design, photography, restoration, book illustration, portrait painting, and teaching art for county councils.[1] Elkington is also an author with 8 books, including the popular 'A Very Civil War', and resides in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom.[3][4]
