Carole Wagener

Carole Wagener was born in 1948 in Alaska, Wisconsin, where she grew up in a rural farming community and her parents ran the local general store. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in physical therapy in 1970, enjoyed a fifty-year career in the field until 2018, and later became a writer at age 67, co-authoring a memoir based on her husband's Vietnam War letters after joining a writers' club in retirement.[1][2][3]
