Carol Andersen

Carol Anderson is the Robert W. Woodruff Professor of African American Studies at Emory University and a leading scholar of race and foreign policy. She earned her PhD in history from Ohio State University in 1995 and is an award-winning author known for her critically-acclaimed books examining African American history, civil rights, voting rights, and the Second Amendment. Her work has received numerous accolades including the National Book Critics Circle Award and recognition as a New York Times bestselling author.
