Carlos De La Torre

Carlos de la Torre is a professor of sociology and Latin American studies known for his scholarship on populism, democratization, and authoritarianism in Latin America. He has published numerous books and more than 100 academic articles and chapters, and has held fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
