Carla Neggers, born August 9, 1955, in Belchertown, Massachusetts, is a New York Times bestselling author of over 75 novels, including the Sharpe & Donovan and Swift River Valley series, blending romance, suspense, and stories of friendship and family. A magna cum laude graduate of Boston University, she began writing as a child in rural western Massachusetts and now lives in Vermont with her family.
