Carl Sandburg
Carl Sandburg was an American poet, historian, novelist, and folklorist. He is best known for his poetry, particularly his "Chicago Poems," which captured the spirit of the American Midwest. Sandburg also wrote a comprehensive biography of Abraham Lincoln and collected American folk songs.
