Carl Sagan
Carl Sagan was an American astronomer, science writer, and science communicator best known for helping popularize science through books, lectures, and the television series *Cosmos: A Personal Voyage*. He also contributed to planetary science, exobiology, and the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, and was a founding member and first president of the Planetary Society.
