Carl Czerny

Carl Czerny was an Austrian composer, pianist, and teacher of Czech origin who bridged the late Classical and early Romantic eras. He was a celebrated pupil of Ludwig van Beethoven and later became one of Franz Liszt's most important teachers, especially known for his influential piano études and pedagogical works.
