Cara Black is a New York Times bestselling American mystery author best known for her 21-novel Aimée Leduc series featuring a Paris-based private investigator, as well as WWII thrillers like Three Hours in Paris and Night Flight to Paris. Born in Chicago, she has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since age five, worked diverse jobs including teaching English in Japan and preschool director, and received honors such as the Médaille de la Ville de Paris. She lives in San Francisco with her husband Jun Ishimuro and their son.[1][3][4]
