Candace Camp
Candace Camp, born Candace Pauline Camp on May 23, 1949, in Amarillo, Texas, is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over 60 romance novels, primarily historical romances set in Regency England. Raised in a newspaper family, she earned a law degree, practiced law briefly, and began writing full-time after publishing her first novel, Bonds of Love, under the pseudonym Lisa Gregory in 1978. She has used pseudonyms including Lisa Gregory, Sharon Stephens, Kristin James, and Jill Gregory, and lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband Pete Hopcus.[1][2][3]
