Campbell R McConnell

Campbell R. 'Mac' McConnell was an American economist and professor who taught at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1953 until his retirement in 1990. He authored the influential textbook 'Economics: Principles, Problems, and Policies,' first published in 1960 and now in its 22nd edition, along with co-authoring works on labor economics. He received numerous awards for teaching and service, including the University of Nebraska Distinguished Teaching Award and past presidency of the Midwest Economics Association.
