Cameron M Smith
Dr. Cameron M. Smith is an archaeologist and anthropologist who has been teaching at Portland State University since 1999, where he instructs courses on human evolution and prehistory. He earned his Ph.D. in Archaeology from Simon Fraser University in 2004 and has conducted fieldwork searching for early human fossils in East Africa and studying traditional hunting methods in Arctic Alaska. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including The American Journal of Physical Anthropology and The Journal of Field Archaeology.
