C J Cherryh

C. J. Cherryh is the pen name of Carolyn Janice Cherry, an American speculative fiction writer born in 1942. She is known for richly detailed worldbuilding in science fiction and fantasy, especially the Alliance-Union and Foreigner series, and has won major awards including the Hugo, Locus, and Prometheus.
