C. Harper
Charles George Harper (1863–1943) was an English author and illustrator known for his self-illustrated travel books on Britain's regions, roads, coastlines, literary connections, and old inns.[1] He also authored works on drawing techniques, such as *English Pen Artists of To-day* (1892) and *A Practical Handbook of Drawing for Modern Methods of Reproduction* (1894), alongside polemical and satirical writings including *Revolted Woman* (1894) and *Hearts Do Not Break* (1896).[1] In later life, he resided in Petersham.[1]
