C. B. Atkins

C. B. Atkins, born Clay Brown Atkin in Knoxville, Tennessee, was a prominent Knoxville entrepreneur who specialized in wooden mantels and became the world's largest supplier of such products. He was not primarily known as an author but as a successful businessman in the furniture and mantel industry during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
