Roger Priddy left school at 16 with one art qualification and trained as an illustrator at Berkshire College of Art and Design. He worked at Usborne Publishing and Dorling Kindersley, becoming Creative Director of DK’s Children’s Division, before founding Priddy Books in 2000 with St Martin’s Press to create innovative early learning books for children.[1][2][3][5] Over 30 million copies of his 200+ books have sold worldwide, with several titles like My Big Animal and First 100 Words exceeding one million copies each, and he lives in London with his wife and four children.[1]
