Mark Hirschey was the Anderson W. Chandler Professor of Business at the University of Kansas, renowned for his international reputation in research at the interface of finance, managerial economics, and accounting. He authored more than 90 academic research articles, scholarly books, and textbooks. Hirschey passed away at age 58 after a yearlong battle with Burkitt's Lymphoma.
