Hans-Werner Sinn is a German economist and professor known for his work on public finance, globalization, and European economic policy. He served as president of the Ifo Institute in Munich from 1999 to 2016 and taught at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he became one of Germany’s most frequently cited economists.[1][2][3]
