Donna Kaye Diers (1938-2013) was a renowned nursing leader, researcher, and educator who served as the sixth dean of the Yale School of Nursing and was named an American Academy of Nursing Living Legend. She was a prolific writer and champion of nursing research, known for writing one of the first nursing research methods texts and for her advocacy work on behalf of women in academia.
