Brion McClanahan is an American historian, author, professor, and speaker specializing in the Founding Fathers and American founding principles. He earned a B.A. in History from Salisbury University in 1997, an M.A. in 1999, and a Ph.D. in 2006 from the University of South Carolina, where he was the last doctoral student of Clyde Wilson. He has authored or co-authored several books, including The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Founding Fathers (2009) and 9 Presidents Who Screwed Up America (2016), and serves as Executive Vice President of the Abbeville Institute.[1][2][6]
