Ben Klemens is a computational social scientist, author, and economist who earned his PhD in Social Sciences from Caltech and has worked on statistical analysis, patent reform at Brookings and the Free Software Foundation, and statistical computing at the US Census Bureau.[1][4][5] He has published books, articles in popular and academic press, and co-hosts the podcast 'Pod, Paper, Scissors'.[1][3] Currently, he serves as a Nonresident Fellow at the Brookings Institution and Executive Director of End Software Patents.[2][5]
