Bruno Bettelheim
Bruno Bettelheim was an Austrian-born American psychoanalyst and writer known for his influential and often controversial work on child development, autism, and the psychological meaning of fairy tales. He wrote extensively on child psychology, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning 'The Uses of Enchantment'. His legacy has been later questioned due to allegations of academic misconduct and abusive treatment of patients.
